1. Scope and contact

This notice explains how POWER SERVERS handles personal information connected with power-servers.net, enquiries and the administration of virtual server, domain registration and DNS services. Contact POWER SERVERS.

POWER SERVERS is the name used on this website. The full legal identity of the supplier responsible for an individual service must be identified in the quotation or order confirmation. This notice does not replace any service-specific privacy information provided when information is collected.

2. Information covered

Depending on how you interact with us, relevant information may include your name, business contact details, email address, correspondence, order and invoice information, payment status, domain registrant details, support requests and abuse reports. Please provide only information needed for your request and do not send passwords, full payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information by email.

Website delivery and security involve technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, requested URLs and request timestamps. This site uses Cloudflare. Your browser also stores your cookie preference. Google Tag Manager is contacted on each page load. Analytics storage defaults to denied until you consent, but cookieless measurement signals may still be sent. The Cookie Policy describes the current configuration.

Information may come directly from you, from someone acting for your organisation, from service partners where needed to fulfil an order, or from security and abuse reports. Hosted customer content is addressed separately below.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Where UK data protection law applies, the basis depends on the activity:

Information necessary to answer a request, verify domain registration or fulfil an order may be required for that purpose. Without it, we may be unable to provide the relevant service. Optional analytics is not a condition of service. Any materially different use requires appropriate information and a lawful basis.

4. Recipients

Information may be shared where necessary with infrastructure and hosting suppliers, Cloudflare for website delivery and security, email and support providers, domain registrars and registries, payment and accounting providers, professional advisers, and authorities where legally required. The categories involved depend on the service ordered. Registrars, registries and payment providers may act as independent controllers under their own notices.

Google receives technical requests when GTM and Analytics load on every visit. Google Analytics (G-3MTPKLNQXM) may send cookieless measurement signals before consent or after rejection. 5. International processing

Internet infrastructure and third-party providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where a transfer is subject to UK international-transfer restrictions, an applicable adequacy provision, appropriate contractual safeguard or other lawful mechanism is required. You can request information about the destinations and safeguards relevant to your service by contacting us. This notice does not represent that all data is stored in the UK.

6. Retention

Retention depends on the purpose: correspondence is kept for handling the enquiry and necessary follow-up; service records for administration and relevant post-contract obligations; accounting records for applicable statutory periods; and security or abuse evidence for investigation, remediation and any relevant legal claims. Disputes or lawful preservation requests can require longer retention. Data should be deleted or anonymised when those purposes no longer require it.

The cookie preference is valid for 180 days, as explained in the Cookie Policy. Hosted-data deletion and any backup or recovery period depend on the accepted service terms. 7. Hosted customer data

Customers decide what they host and remain responsible for the lawfulness of that content and their notices to individuals. Where POWER SERVERS processes personal data on a customer's behalf, the processing must be governed by appropriate data-processing terms and documented instructions. This website notice is not a data-processing agreement. If your information is held on a customer's website or server, contact that customer first about its use of your information; we can assist with requests within our responsibilities.

8. Security

Personal information must be handled using safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity and the risks involved. No internet service is completely risk-free. Keep account credentials secure, apply updates within your responsibility, and contact us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. Do not include live credentials in a security report.

9. Your rights

Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.

Send requests to POWER SERVERS. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity. Where UK GDPR applies, requests are normally answered within one month; lawful extensions may apply, in which case you will be informed. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or another competent supervisory authority.

10. Updates

We will update this notice when relevant practices change. Material changes affecting existing processing will be communicated as required. The date at the top identifies this version.
